Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role is Remote.

As a Senior Java Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our clients. Working in a team environment, you will take direction from solution architects and leads on development activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering, including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to the technical software development process, following industry best practices.
• Develop applications using Java Spring Boot Microservices, AWS (Java Spark, EMR), OCP (OpenShift), or Kubernetes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members of varying experience levels.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership, driving tasks proactively.
• Payments Network experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of application development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.
• End-to-end development experience.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills.

The salary range for this position is approximately $65,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits details are available in our overview.
