Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Java/J2EE architect.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, EJB 2.0, JMS, JDBC, JTA, JNDI, JMX, JAAS, UML.
• Experience with Struts, TopLink, WebLogic, Oracle, and object-oriented design methodologies.
• Proficiency in Swing and application component development.

Responsibilities

• Define and promote enterprise architecture that supports the company’s business strategy.
• Design and review application and data architecture, including frameworks, components, and infrastructure.
• Conduct design and code reviews of J2EE software components.
• Identify and remediate architectural weaknesses.
• Participate across the software development life cycle: requirements, specifications, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Advise on network, security, operating system, and infrastructure engineering.
