Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT/computer engineering or related experience.
• 5+ years with Java (Java 8 + lambdas).
• 5+ years with Spring, RESTful services, and Oracle or other databases.
• Experience with code repositories (Git/TFS) and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• Two years in SQL, two years in Java DB tools (JPA/Hibernate).
• Two years in JavaScript (AJAX/ExtJS) and messaging/stream tech (MQ/Kafka).
• Container tools (Docker/OpenShift) and application delivery tools (Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Participates in software system testing and validation, programming, and documentation.
• Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management.
• Stay current with new technologies.
• Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
• May lead projects, assign tasks, coordinate efforts, and monitor performance.
• Develop solutions using best practices and modern design principles; provide quality, tested code.
