Tech Junction Ltd. in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Java API Payments Architect for a high-stakes enterprise engagement on a full-time contract basis.

You will own end-to-end payment systems design, secure APIs (REST/GraphQL), and governance across payment workflows. Requirements include 10+ years in software with 4+ in architecture, strong Java/Spring skills, PCI-DSS expertise, and local residency in Charlotte with US work authorization.

Formación

• 10+ years software engineering with at least 4 years in architecture.
• Deep domain expertise in enterprise payment processing and banking protocols.
• Proficient in Java, Spring, microservices and API design.
• Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and financial cybersecurity standards.
• Local residency in Charlotte, NC with US work authorization.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and govern enterprise-grade payment systems and high-throughput APIs.
• Define roadmaps and blueprints for payment gateway integrations (ACH, wire, card).
• Ensure PCI-DSS compliance, encryption, tokenization, and security controls.
• Design microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Spring).
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance to teams.
• Collaborate with product, security, and compliance to align designs with business goals.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and latency in payment workflows.
• Maintain architectural docs, API specs, and integration guides.
