Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 or Level 3 to support modernization efforts of a mission-critical Java application.

The role involves developing cloud-ready microservices and will require strong Java and Angular skills, along with experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Applicants need 14 to 20 years of experience and must hold an active TS SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of Software Engineering experience or 18 years in lieu of degree for Level 2.
• 20+ years of Software Engineering experience or 24 years in lieu of degree for Level 3.
• Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Support migration to Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
• Maintain PostgreSQL database components.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities.
