Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience developing backend systems in Java.
• Strong proficiency with Java and core JVM concepts.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Relational databases design; NoSQL a plus.
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable software.
• Git version control experience.
• Linux/Unix environments (RHEL).
• Agile development experience.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations to improve documentation and development standards.
• Develop algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with testing procedures and software documentation.
• Lead or guide teams within the software development process.
