Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Senior Java Developer to deliver scalable backend systems and apply AI tooling to enhance how solutions are built. You will implement Spring Boot services, build REST APIs, and support microservice architecture deployments on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services with CI/CD.

Responsibilities include engineering scalable applications, driving architectural decisions, mentoring juniors, and ensuring delivery on time with high quality across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in a related position.
• Familiarity with AI principles and tooling to strengthen development outcomes.
• Thorough understanding of Java Core and object-oriented design approaches.
• Direct experience with Java 8 capabilities.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting backend systems with Spring Boot.
• Experience operating in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Ability to deploy and oversee infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes enabling automated build and release cycles.
• Proficiency with SQL for relational databases and experience with NoSQL solutions.
• Experience delivering systems based on Microservice Architecture and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing to ensure code quality.
• English fluency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or above.
