Smart Tech Skills LLC in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Developer/Programmer Analyst to design, develop, and optimize Jasper Reports and Oracle database solutions for a statewide education data initiative. You will lead complex reporting projects within an Agile SDLC, write efficient SQL/PLSQL code, perform data aggregation, and collaborate with agency stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with Jasper Reports, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, and Agile

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining Jasper Reports.
• 8+ years of experience executing developer unit testing and code validation.
• 8+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience designing, coding, and supporting database solutions using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain complex Jasper Reports for enterprise-scale reporting solutions.
• Write, optimize, and support complex database queries, PL/SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures in Oracle environments.
• Perform data aggregation, data extraction, and database analysis to ensure report output accuracy and efficacy.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development ceremonies, executing defined code changes within scheduled release cycles.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and report runbooks.
