Job summary

Atlas Consulting Group, LLC. in Reno, NV seeks a Senior Japanese Translator to perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and document translation for a manufacturing environment.

You will work onsite in a 40-hour week, communicating complex technical content with precision. The role requires 2+ years of experience, ILR 4+ proficiency, and a technical mindset; you will mentor junior translators and ensure confidentiality and accuracy across materials.

Qualifications

• Bilingual or native-level Japanese and English with high proficiency.
• 2+ years interpreting experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience translating technical documents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets onsite, 1-on-1, group settings and online meetings with high accuracy.
• Translates relevant terminology between Japanese and English for technical and non-technical topics.
• Maintains confidentiality of meeting agendas and sensitive topics.
