Job summary

Training, Rehabilitation, & Development Institute, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor to oversee contract operations, coordinate with Government contacts, and manage budgets and schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on safety and compliance. The position demands experience with AbilityOne and working with diverse teams across locations, plus the ability to communicate clearly and delegate effectively.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 1 year relevant work and leadership experience in a multi-location environment.
• Experience with Labor Unions and regulatory laws.
• Experience leading high performing teams.
• Experience with AbilityOne Program.
• Experience with Community Agencies and/or individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations to ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract.
• Ensures organizational employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with contractual requirements and government regulations.
• Acts as the Government point of contact and can make decisions on contract matters (excluding amendments to price/scope).
• Manages and reviews the contract budget and efficiency of processes.
• Schedules personnel, reviews time cards, and oversees inventory of supplies and vehicles.
• Sets expectations, counsels staff, and implements process improvements per company policies.
• Conducts Employee Performance Evaluations through the payroll system on time.
• Maintains safety standards and trains staff on equipment, supplies, and procedures.
• Analyzes AbilityOne Ratio and manages direct vs. non-disabled hours.
• Completes Limitation & Accommodation Reports for AbilityOne employees.
• Serves as facilitator for the AbilityOne Program.
• Executes reports, inspections and logs as required by the contract.
• Provides field information to prepare estimates for new work added or deleted.
• Other tasks as directed by Director of Operations or project manager.
• Ensures security clearance and compliance with Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Maintains OPSEC standard operating procedures.
• Maintains GFP property control plan.
• Maintains a safety/health program per EM 385-1-1 and OSHA/DOD requirements.
• Maintains APP per Appendix A, EM 385-1-1.
