Job summary

Tom Wood Jaguar Land Rover Volvo in Indianapolis, Indiana seeks an experienced Jaguar/Land Rover Technician to join our award-winning service team. You will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on luxury vehicles, working in a state-of-the-art facility with a team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.

This role requires 5+ years of professional automotive experience, Jaguar/Land Rover familiarity, strong electrical and diagnostic skills, and the ability to document

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Previous Jaguar, Land Rover, European luxury, or premium import experience.
• Strong electrical, drivability, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with scan tools, diagnostic software, and electronic service information.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
• Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, drivability systems, suspension, steering, brake systems, and electrical components.
• Diagnose complex electrical and network communication concerns using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest level of workmanship.
• Perform factory-recommended maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Accurately document findings, inspections, and completed repairs.
• Complete digital multi-point inspections and customer-facing service videos.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Personnel to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
• Stay current with Jaguar Land Rover technical bulletins, emerging technologies, and manufacturer training.
• Mentor and support apprentice and entry-level technicians when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and manufacturer safety standards.
