Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician Sr.

to support a client site in Hampton, Virginia. The role covers diagnosis, repair, fabrication, and maintenance of complex electronic and traffic control equipment, including ITS devices, cameras, fiber optics, and related networks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electronic theory, proficient MS Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electronic theory.
• Proficient skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, program and modify devices and equipment for ITS and traffic control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ITS devices including traffic signals, fiber optics, wireless, and IP networks.
• Read and work from plans, schematics and displays.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Troubleshoot and locate defective devices and perform repairs.
• Use electronic test equipment and fiber optics test equipment; operate PC.
• Climb communication towers to repair cameras and equipment; operate a variety of vehicles.
• Emergency call-back during off-hours; perform other duties as assigned.
