Job summary

Metric Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior ITS/Tolling Inspector to support the I-75 Express Lanes/MPDB project in Southwest Florida. The role covers field inspection, documentation, testing, and acceptance of ITS/tolling systems, fiber, and related installations.

The ideal candidate has senior CEI inspection experience, FDOT procedure knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with project teams over a multi-year, 23-mile corridor.

Qualifications

• Senior-level CEI inspection experience on ITS and tolling construction.
• Express lanes or managed-lane systems experience.
• Knowledge of FDOT construction documentation and inspection procedures.
• Experience with fiber-optic infrastructure and ITS devices and field installations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work for conformance with plans, specifications, NEC, FDOT requirements.
• Identify deficiencies, document field activities, coordinate with project staff, and escalate issues as needed.
