Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Sr IT Associate Director Web Capability Lead to own product direction for the web platform supporting IT Marketing and Sales. You will lead a matrixed team of 4–9 professionals, engage brand teams, and drive AI/ML-driven capabilities across the web production channel.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge (MLR, PromoMats/Veeva Vault), experience with headless CMS, design systems, and deployment pipelines, plus excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent; IT and business experience preferred.
• Three to seven years of leadership experience in IT/pro d/pj management in matrixed environments.
• Experience managing priorities across multiple business areas and building cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with brand teams, agencies, and IT partners.
• Lead IT decisions and ensure content development, MLR review, and PromoMats integration.
• Drive AI/ML capabilities for automated website creation and design-to-code workflows.
• Propose and govern new capabilities while embedding compliance in templates and components.
• Plan and organize resources to advance the web capability roadmap.
• Coordinate demand and prioritization across business, IT, compliance, and agencies.
• Document relationships of systems and services supporting the brand website domain.
• Provide support to brand/launch teams and optimize performance.
• Lead a cross-functional matrixed team of 4–9 engineers and specialists.
