Consolidated Edison Company of New York seeks an IT Strategic Vendor Management Sr. Specialist to govern technology vendor relationships and drive contract compliance and performance across IT services and software.

The role partners with IT, Supply Chain, Legal, Cybersecurity and business stakeholders to ensure SLAs, KPIs, and license entitlements are achieved while supporting risk management and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's in Business Admin, Supply Chain, IT, Finance or related field with 3+ years IT vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration among IT, business stakeholders, Supply Chain, Legal, Cybersecurity, and vendors to achieve objectives.
• Monitor IT vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, licenses, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and distribute IT vendor scorecards and service performance reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate IT vendor governance meetings and track action items.
• Review IT software contracts, licenses, and statements of work for compliance.
• Track vendor risks, audits, and remediation activities; report to stakeholders.
• Analyze vendor financials, licensing charges, and cloud consumption for compliance.
• Support sourcing, negotiations, renewals, and contract lifecycle management.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and service improvement.
