Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking a Senior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-lifecycle recruiting for cleared technical roles within our federal client portfolio, including surge hiring for AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists.

The ideal candidate brings a strong data-driven mindset, autonomy, and a proven track record in converting top talent in a competitive market. This is a hybrid role with two onsite days per week in Tysons, VA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-lifecycle IT/technical recruiting experience.
• 5+ years recruiting in a GovCon environment.
• Proven AI/ML recruiting depth with experience placing ML engineers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Own full-lifecycle delivery for assigned cleared technical requisitions, including intake, market mapping, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and negotiations.
• Hunt passive cleared talent across AI/ML, data science, software eng, cloud/DevOps, data engineering, etc.
• Screen with technical credibility on ML frameworks, data pipelines, MLOps, and cloud architecture.
• Run offers with market intelligence and structured counteroffers.
• Build and maintain a durable talent pipeline and deliver reporting metrics.
• Partner with hiring managers through structured intake, data-backed reviews, and market feedback.
• Provide consultative guidance on interview best practices, offers, timelines, and candidate experience.
