Job summary

Amperity, based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to own integrations, automation, and access governance. You will partner with Security, Engineering, and People teams to secure a scalable data‑driven environment and to enable AI tools across the organization.

The role emphasizes hands‑on administration of Databricks, Snowflake, and the SaaS stack, with a bias for automation, risk awareness, and clear cross‑functional communication. Hybrid work model applies.

Qualifications

• Experience governance for cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Proven ability to design and implement automation across IT workflows.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access governance (Okta, SSO, SCIM).
• Strong MacOS/MDM administration and SaaS ecosystem management.

Responsibilities

• Build integrations and automation to reduce manual work across onboarding, provisioning, and reporting.
• Design and support the employee identity lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding, SSO, SCIM).
• Govern and operate data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Evaluate, deploy, and manage AI tools with proper access controls and licenses.
• Administer the SaaS stack (G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, MDM).
• Manage MacOS endpoint fleet and MDM policies.
• Develop monitoring and automation to preempt issues and scale IT support.
• Own backup, recovery, and continuity for critical systems.
• Handle escalations and provide day-to-day IT support to staff.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset/licence management, and SaaS spend.
• Collaborate with Security, HR, GRC, and Engineering.
