Job summary

APi Group is seeking an IT SOX Risk & Compliance Senior Analyst to join the IT SOX Risk & Compliance team in New Brighton, MN. The role focuses on IT SOX compliance, with emphasis on IT general controls and application controls design, operation and validation.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with control owners, document processes, respond to audit findings, and work with external vendors to ensure timely SOC reporting. Certification such as CISA or CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT General Controls and IT application controls design, operation and validation.
• Strong knowledge of IT SOX compliance standards.
• Certification such as CISA, CPA, CISM or relevant equivalents (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Control Owners to design, implement, operate, and enhance SOX controls for compliance.
• Map and document processes, identifying opportunities for improvement to align with SOX standards.
• Ensure SOPs and controls are documented using approved templates and formats for SOX compliance.
• Respond to audit findings with detailed mitigation documentation and remediation plans.
• Work with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of SOC reports and evaluate SOC reports for exceptions.
• Lead efforts to identify, design, and implement new controls aligned with SOX requirements.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of processes and controls for efficiency and reliability.
• Act as a liaison between internal/external auditors and IT during audit periods.
• Provide audit documentation to auditors during the annual audit period.
