Job summary

Stratford Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced .NET Application Developer with strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft .NET, Oracle, and MS SQL Server environments.

The role focuses on developing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The candidate will work independently and collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting deployment readiness

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Experience developing and supporting web applications, APIs, web services, and Windows services.
• Strong IIS configuration and administration experience.
• Experience with MS SQL Server including SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git/Git Bash and source-code management.
• Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting across multiple environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain .NET web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and desktop applications.
• Work with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Configure and manage Microsoft IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificates.
• Install, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.
• Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment configurations.
• Work with MS SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, and perform basic database maintenance.
• Work with Oracle databases and SQL development.
• Use Git/Git Bash for repository cloning, branching, code management, and pulling updates.
• Perform unit testing, regression testing, debugging, and application validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues in a timely manner.
• Support application deployments and ensure deployment readiness across multiple environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Utilize front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in peer code reviews and follow established development and coding standards.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams using Jira for sprint planning, task management, and Agile workflows.
• Maintain proper version control and branching strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of application development, deployment, and support processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as required.
