Job summary

AgroLiquid is seeking an IT Security & Systems Architect to support and strengthen the security of our systems, infrastructure, and data. This is a fully onsite role based in St. Johns, Michigan.

You will work closely with multiple teams across the business, gaining visibility and influence in how security supports company growth. The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and being a key contributor to day-to-day security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity / IT security experience.
• Experience with EDR, MDR, or XDR technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Familiarity with NIST and CIS controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system security and access, including user accounts, devices, and network configurations.
• Maintain and monitor security tools such as endpoint protection, IAM systems, and cloud security platforms.
• Lead incident response coordination, containment, and post-incident actions; document lessons learned.
• Maintain cybersecurity roadmap inputs for vulnerability management and system hardening.
• Evaluate, design, deploy, and govern current and future technology architecture to improve security and user experience.
• Lead security awareness training and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for secure operations.
