Job summary

Arena Intelligence is seeking a senior IT and security engineer to own the technical direction of identity, endpoints, and access in our San Francisco office. You will deepen automation and implement a robust zero-trust model while doing hands-on work.

You’ll work across Okta, Intune, Jamf, CrowdStrike, and cloud platforms to secure developer and production environments, ensuring scalable access controls and audit-ready evidence for compliance.

Qualifications

• Deep, current, hands-on experience with identity and endpoint management.
• Owned a function with architectural calls and cost awareness.
• Real depth with Okta or comparable identity platforms.
• Automation mindset with scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Endpoint management at scale (Intune/Jamf) and related security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design the identity and access model with Okta as center of gravity; include SSO/SCIM, group design, and lifecycle automation.
• Own endpoint strategy for Apple fleet (Intune, ABM, CrowdStrike Falcon) from procurement to retirement.
• Set posture across enterprise and production systems including source control, cloud data, hosting, and managed infra.
• Extend entitlement to developer and data platforms; define acceptable access and blast radius.
• Automate manual processes using Okta Workflows, APIs, or scripting; reduce queue work.
• Deepen operational readiness with runbooks, on-call processes, and documentation.
• Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end with the evidence trail for compliance.
• Collaborate with security on device trust, conditional access, and privileged access.
