Job summary

Reach Media in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to ensure secure, reliable IT services across end-user and infrastructure domains. The role focuses on delivering Microsoft-based services, cloud security, and resilient operational capabilities in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

You will act as a technical escalation point, implement cybersecurity controls, and align IT with business continuity and disaster recovery requirements in a 24/7 broadcast setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with cloud security, endpoint protection and incident response.
• Experience with Cisco networking and firewall technologies.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery, stability and supportability of Microsoft-based IT services, including Azure, M365, Intune, Defender and hybrid AD.
• IT support to end users and Technology teams.
• Act as technical escalation point for IT, security and IT infrastructure incidents.
• Ensure IT platforms are secure, resilient, scalable and fit for purpose.
• Implement and improve cybersecurity controls in line with policy.
• Ensure systems meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
