Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to protect IT security platforms for a leading U.S. e-commerce site. You will design and manage security solutions, guiding business decisions and ensuring resilience across the enterprise.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in an enterprise IT environment, a Bachelor’s in IT or related field, and relevant certifications such as CISSP or Security+. This on-site role includes comprehensive benefits at a large, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with enterprise-level applications and security tools.
• CISSP or Security+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with architects, developers and leadership to create strong security plans for new systems, networks and applications.
• Review systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Lead design and hands-on implementation of IT Security solutions focused on user access and network safety.
• Manage and maintain systems and software, including network setups and security tools.
• Reduce security risks for complex projects posing business challenges.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in an enterprise-level IT environment.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level applications and security tools.
• CISSP, Security+ or related information security certifications are preferred.
