Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst in Lansing, MI to guide compliance and security governance for MDCR, MCSC, and MiLEAP applications. You will oversee SSPs/DRPs, drive ATO renewals, and ensure continuous regulatory alignment with NIST while coordinating with vendors, auditors, and stakeholders.

The role demands expertise in GRC, risk assessments, and documentation, with senior-level support across multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in IT/security domain.
• Knowledge of NIST Framework and Controls required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate with vendors/auditors.
• Experience creating IT system audit support documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update System Security Plans (SSPs) compliant with NIST.
• Lead Authority to Operate (ATO) renewals and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Ensure valid ATO on a 3-year cycle and maintain security controls.
• Review risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop management reports with trend analysis across agencies.
• Address POA&Ms and ensure timely reporting and closure.
• Provide senior-level support across MDCR, MCSC & MiLEAP.
• Coordinate cross-functional evidence for SSP/ATO processes.
• Oversee remediation of security controls and governance activities.
• Identify procedural gaps and drive best practice adoption.
• Lead incident responses for cyber events and recovery.
