Job summary

Five Rivers IT Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Security Compliance Analyst to join a dynamic team delivering world‑class IT services to NYC metro area clients.

You will develop, implement and support governance, risk and compliance initiatives across multiple environments for a managed services portfolio. The role requires 5+ years of experience managing security audits, strong communication and program management skills, and the ability to collaborate with auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing information security audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
• Experience implementing security techniques, practices, and controls to address risks.
• Experience operating within information security programs aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, ITIL, COBIT, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and program management capabilities.
• Experience working with auditors and external regulators and managing security tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scoping, execution and documentation of audits in tech and technology risks.
• Coordinate requests and responses between auditors and Engineering/IT teams.
• Maintain proactive compliance using tools for periodic security tasks and checks.
• Research new security compliance requirements and evaluate control needs.
• Support remediation efforts and validate closure with evidence reviews.
• Write findings, remediation plans, and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical advice to engineers to improve security controls (cloud included).
• Educate control owners on compliance requirements and implement risk-based controls.
• Handle incident management: documentation, risk analysis, containment, investigation, notification, lessons learned, and client reporting.
