Job summary

The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to strengthen IT security across locations in Sarasota, FL and bordering facilities. This on-site role bridges IT Security with business teams, supports risk identification, security monitoring, and hands-on tech assistance with helpdesk coverage and escalation.

Reporting to the Vice President, Technology, the role contributes to disaster recovery readiness, maintains security docs, and supports threat and vulnerability efforts using

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5+ years in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• 2–5+ years in desktop support or IT troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO27001, and SOC2.
• Strong documentation and process development skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and testing of business continuity and DR plans.
• Perform risk assessments and business impact analyses.
• Monitor security alerts via SIEM and endpoint tools.
• Investigate security incidents and follow incident response procedures.
• Produce routine security reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate technology needs across Sarasota and Twin Lakes offices.
