Job summary

Synovus is seeking an IT leader to manage teams delivering enterprise technology solutions. You will analyze trends, define strategies, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality, cost-efficient systems aligned with client and business needs.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with stakeholders, drive risk management, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements across the portfolio, and build strong client relationships to support service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 years of IT work experience including supervising team(s) responsible for software application and/or business unit support.
• Ability to stand, sit, talk and hear regularly; good vision and hand dexterity.
• Familiarity with risk management and adherence to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors staff at the business function level.
• Manages hardware/software planning, partner selection, acquisition, and Tier 3 support.
• Develops annual technology solution plans and analyzes client requirements.
• Controls budget for supported products and services.
• Contributes to standards and changes to systems/applications.
• Manages all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, and maintenance.
• Resolves client technical problems and coordinates RFQs.
• Plans resources, budget, tools, and training for cost-effective implementations.
• Works with departments to establish performance metrics.
• Builds relationships with clients and ensures service levels.
• Oversees day-to-day activities and personnel processes.
• Directs training for internal IT and external users.
