Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency testing web services (such as SoapUI, REST or equivalent tools).
• Experience in supporting the integration of automation into CI/CD tooling.
• Understanding of Object-oriented programming.
• Experience in creating scripted tests for API testing.
• Knowledge in QA automation tools.
• Knowledge of automation capabilities with Playwright.
• Hands on database testing or SQL experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, test cases, and defects.
• Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor less experienced quality analysts.
• Available for on-call testing requests.
• 100% On-site attendance in Pontiac, MI.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for quality as a subject matter expert in UWM's applications.
• Design, build, and manage test plans and strategies.
• Support the testing of multiple ongoing projects concurrently.
• Perform manual testing and support automated test creation.
• Suggest and implement new testing processes.
