Job summary

Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (ITS) - Project Manager for the E911 Section of the Communications and Technology Division. The role leads large IT projects and ensures on-time, on-budget delivery with vendor and stakeholder coordination.

The position focuses on software integration, infrastructure, and procurement activities, requiring4 years of relevant experience and a Florida driver’s license, with preferred PMP/CAPM PgMP

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Requires four (4) years of experience in systems analysis, systems design and/or applications programming relevant to area of assignment including related project management or closely related experience.
• Position requires the possession and maintenance of a valid Florida E Class Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level technical expertise and project management direction of multiple large scale IT initiatives.
• Lead project plans, direct, and monitor work efforts daily, identify resource needs and risks.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all PM activities for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and develop presentations for updates.
