Job summary

Broward County's E911 Section is hiring an Information Technology Specialist (ITS) - Project Manager to lead large-scale technology projects within the Communications and Technology Division, supporting 1.3M 911 calls. Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and four years of relevant experience with project management.

CJIS security awareness certification and Florida driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Four years of experience in systems analysis/design or applications programming with related project management.
• Valid Florida E Class Driver's License and CJIS Security Awareness Level 4 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple large-scale IT initiatives in E911.
• Coordinate with PSAP operations and E911 staff for training and acceptance testing.
• Attend PMO meetings and manage vendor relationships.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, manage scope, time, and budget.
