Georgia Power is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager IV to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and ensure IT delivery aligns with business priorities.

This senior-level role will manage projects from concept through implementation, define scope and milestones, coordinate technical and product teams, and provide clear project visibility to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proven experience leading large, cross-functional technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional delivery of complex IT and technology projects.
• Define project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, and resource requirements.
• Manage projects from concept creation through implementation and completion.
• Lead sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and other Agile delivery activities.
• Collaborate with technical, product, and business teams to break complex initiatives into prioritized and actionable plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, roadmaps, status reports, and milestone tracking.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, and constraints.
• Define and drive mitigation plans for project risks and delivery challenges.
• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions.
• Apply advanced negotiation, facilitation, planning, and dependency-management techniques.
• Create clear visibility into project status, progress, risks, and priorities.
• Coordinate resources and ensure alignment across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Support continuous improvement of IT project delivery processes and practices.
