Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a 12-month W2 contract in St. Louis, MO. The role requires extensive project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, with strong Agile and SAFe proficiency.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in project management, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting or project accounting including cost management systems to support project budget, forecast, and spend.
Experience with Agile projects and SAFe.
Experience in managing finances along with project schedules, risks, and documentation.
Experience with HR projects would be a major bonus.
2+ years of experience at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies preferred.

Responsibilities

Solves complex problems with independence, defines and manages scope and schedule of large and complex projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Prioritizes projects and enables team success by proactive support as a servant leader.
Manages vendor relationships, reviews proposals and contracts, and oversees budget and invoices for complex projects.
Monitors high-risk/impact projects, tracks budget, and mitigates scope creep using waterfall methods.
Contributes to PMO processes, methodologies, tools, and automation, including change control and risk management.
Keeps stakeholders informed through transparency and regular status meetings with Digital PMs, Supervisors, and Directors.
Delivers and implements project change strategies and user engagement activities.
