Job Summary
Senior IT Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day execution of Agile and Scrum projects, ensuring predictable sprint cycles. Own end‑to‑end tracking of critical milestones, project funding governance, and alignment of resource allocation with budgetary guardrails and business justifications. Provide expertise in Generative AI and related technologies, guiding design, validation, and integration of AI solutions into the IT environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between the company and consultants, coordinating program governance and milestone tracking.
- Guide the design, validation, and integration of Generative AI and agentic AI solutions.
- Facilitate timely access to operational, scheduling, cost, and HR data while ensuring InfoSec compliance for AI model training and validation.
- Ensure subject‑matter experts and IT/data resources are available, validate deliverables such as fact bases, diagnostics, AI‑enabled roadmaps, and PBS design.
- Define and deliver IT strategic plans for AI adoption, coordinate resources and timelines for AI pilots, and oversee integration into existing systems.
- Verify AI application results via audits, preserve assets through disaster recovery and security controls, and recommend IT and AI strategies and policies.
- Forecast IT and AI resource needs, prepare budgets, monitor variances, and enforce organizational standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven Agile/Scrum delivery experience, including managing day‑to‑day project execution, leading sprint ceremonies, and unblocking cross‑functional technical teams.
- Experience with project milestone and phased‑funding tracking, ensuring governance tied to tight budgetary guardrails.
- Strong foundational understanding of Generative AI, RAG architectures, and dashboard analytics to translate complex business logic into technical requirements.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMP certification.
- Experience with complex business rules, contract rules, or auditing systems (ideal for understanding forensic detection).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, acting as a seamless liaison between business groups and Digital Technology engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML platforms, enterprise AI governance, and large‑scale IT program management.
- PMP Certification preferred.
Work Environment
Location: Chicago, IL. Hybrid schedule, 2–3 days onsite per week. Duration: 20 weeks, with possibility to extend. Contract position.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour (approximate). Compensations may vary.
