Job summary

State of Michigan’s Department of Technology Management and Budget seeks a senior Information Technology Programmer/Analyst to maintain and support the Smart Device/Mobile Technology Environment. The role may involve new development, testing, documentation and deployment to meet project goals.

Location is Dimondale, MI with a hybrid schedule (two days on-site, three days remote). Degree requirements include a Bachelor's with 21 CS credits or alternative education paths with related IT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 credits in computer science, data processing, IT or related fields.
• Alternative: associate's degree with 16 credits and two years of related IT experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with four years of IT experience or four years as an IT Student Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Smart Device/Mobile Technology Environment.
• Contribute to new development, maintenance, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Possibly participate in pre-employment checks and DTMB processes as required.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 21 credits in CS / IT related fields

Associate's degree + 16 credits in related fields + 2 years IT exp

High school diploma + 4 years IT experience
