You will manage multi-workstream initiatives spanning IT, business units, and external partners, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in IT program/project management, deep oil & gas experience, and strong financial discipline to drive outcomes for leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT program and/or project management.
• Extensive oil & gas industry experience is required.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional IT programs with financial accountability.
• Strong understanding of PMI, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Experience managing external vendors and SaaS-based technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level IT programs supporting Crescent Energy’s upstream operations, corporate systems, and SaaS platforms.
• Manage full program lifecycle: planning, execution, risk and dependency management, and delivery.
• Own financial oversight: budget development, forecasting, cost tracking, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with leaders across business units to align technology initiatives with priorities.
• Coordinate between IT, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ensure delivery commitments, timelines, and contractual expectations are met.
• Provide clear communications to leadership on status, risks, and recommendations.
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
• Contribute hands-on and foster a collaborative, improvement-focused mindset.
