Overview

The Senior IT Product Owner manages and communicates the vision and roadmap for products to an Agile delivery team and is aligned with IT standards and strategy. The Senior IT Product Owner represents the voice of the customer to the team. Owns the articulation and prioritization of backlog in small increments of value that can be delivered in short iterations. Drives value to the business by building and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams. Contributes to shaping the product direction, creating the feature(s), writing user stories, and innovation. Begins to influence the department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to build and maintain the product backlog.
  • Contribute to shaping product direction, creating features, writing user stories, and driving innovation.
  • Influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately to complex technical approaches for project components.
  • Work with minimal direction and exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Additional Information
  • Location/Work Style: Remote US
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Pay Range: $104,000 - $143,000 per year
