Job description

Looking for Sr. IT Product Managers with experience in the Healthcare space. Healthcare Payor side experience is required.

Candidates should have at least 7+ years of specific Sr. Product Manager experience.

Any experience in Payor side core administration (Provider Network, Claims Administration, Encounter domains) is preferred.

This is a fully remote position.

The Product Manager will partner with the business and client stakeholders to define the vision and strategy for a portfolio of products, build and execute on roadmaps, and measure business value delivered. This role is also responsible for demand management, project and incident escalation, 3rd party vendor relationship management, release planning, cross-functional coordination, and business or client-facing presentations to showcase capability or communicate the health of active initiatives. In the context of Magellan IT, a 'product' could be a discrete application, platform, process, or service provided by IT to our internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Working with business partners to define business value and set boundaries for the product.
  2. Assuming responsibility for strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the product or product line.
  3. Delivering upon commitments to the roadmap, including participation in design sessions, scrum meetings, product demonstrations, planning sessions, and mitigation strategies.
  4. Leveraging resources, reports, and third parties to define technical requirements or design needs.
  5. Developing release plans based on value and speed to market.
  6. Performing industry landscape analysis and build vs. buy decisions, defining architectural landscape, integration capabilities, and impacts.
  7. Understanding pricing and licensing models for infrastructure and software solutions.
  8. Identifying efficiency opportunities to enhance data integrity and reconciliation.
  9. Participating in financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
  10. Partnering with sales and account management to align technical capabilities with scope of services.
  11. Leading or participating in client meetings to define scope and communicate status.
  12. Identifying KPIs to monitor product efficacy.
  13. Forecasting product obsolescence and migration strategies.
  14. Collaborating across organizations to ensure delivery, adoption, and efficacy.
  15. Assessing cost versus benefit and ROI.
  16. Adapting product direction based on business needs and risks.

Other Job Requirements include:

7+ years of product management experience.

Experience moving across different IT departments for broader business perspective.

Must have 4+ years of team leadership experience.

Experience with Agile methodologies.

Education required: Bachelor's degree.

Salary Range: $93,955 - $159,725. This reflects the national data, with variations based on location, skills, and experience.
