Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio and project management framework across the IT organization, partnering with IT and business to deliver strategic value.

The role focuses on budget stewardship, portfolio reporting, and proactive decision-making to handle constraints, risks, and dependencies within Ryder's environment. Responsibilities include improving portfolio governance, driving Lean-Agile Continuous Delivery, and mentoring Project Managers

Qualifications

• Experience maturing lean portfolio management across IT to deliver business value.
• Proven ability to manage portfolio budgets from $10M to $100M.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration with IT and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Mature lean portfolio/process framework across IT and business partners.
• Oversee portfolio reporting to IT Leadership on budget, schedule health, risks and mitigations.
• Guide value-driven development aligning with org OKRs and strategic goals.
• Lead Lean-Agile delivery coaching for project teams and senior leaders.
• Define and implement portfolio management processes for evidence-based IT investments.
• Support PPM tool implementation and governance across IT.
