Job summary

Motion Recruitment in the Metro Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives across SAP/ERP systems and IT infrastructure environments on a long-term contract, onsite.

You will manage full lifecycle delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align projects with PMO standards while guiding SAP/ERP upgrades, network and data center programs. A strong track record in large public-sector or education environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading enterprise IT infrastructure projects
• 3+ years managing complex IT initiatives as a Project Manager
• Experience with SAP/ERP implementations or upgrades
• Experience with network, server, data center upgrades
• Familiarity with PMO governance and lifecycle frameworks
• Strong risk, issue management and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of enterprise IT projects including planning, design, build, testing, implementation and rollout
• Manage SAP and ERP-related initiatives including implementations, upgrades, integrations and enhancements
• Oversee infrastructure initiatives such as network upgrades, data center initiatives and server/platform implementations
• Develop project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures and resource plans
• Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, SAP teams and project leadership
• Ensure project alignment with PMO standards and governance requirements
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines and quality
• Coordinate multiple technical teams and vendors across infrastructure and application workstreams
• Provide regular project status reporting and executive updates
