Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale IT initiatives for public sector clients from Arizona. You will coordinate project teams, deliverables, and communications, ensuring quality and timely outcomes. Hybrid work arrangement with travel/onsite requirements supported by a strong PM/IV&V framework.

Required PMP certification, 5+ years in IT projects using Agile and Waterfall, and solid MS Project skills. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Based in Arizona (mandatory).
• Active PMP Certification required.
• 5+ years IT industry experience.
• 5+ years project management experience with Agile and Waterfall in IT projects.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Project.
• Ability to interact with senior management and clients.
• Excellent business writing and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management and technical expertise on large-scale IT projects.
• Oversees development of all deliverables, status reports and work products.
• Plans and manages project work and any change management strategies.
• Provides technical oversight of vendor/client processes to minimize risk and ensure standards.
• Performs technical reviews and risk/issue mitigation recommendations.
• Supports project stakeholders’ goals and outcomes.
• Develops and maintains Project Plans and related documents.
• Supports planning discussions on risks/issues to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Understands various SDLC methodologies and their usage.
• Participates in business development and proposal activities.
• Manages communications with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn IV&V.
