Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager in Oakland, CA (Hybrid) for an initial 8-month contract. The role focuses on enterprise technology initiatives including endpoint management, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization with budgets and vendor management responsibilities.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, ensure regulatory alignment, and deliver executive-level status updates and governance artifacts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT project or program management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale infrastructure or software implementations.
• Experience with endpoint management or security deployments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, forecasts, milestones, and metrics.
• Coordinate endpoint management deployments, configurations, testing, and rollouts.
• Oversee migration from legacy tools to modern enterprise platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, deliverables, and performance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, compliance, ops, and business teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and variances.
• Ensure activities align with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and steering updates.
• Drive QA, acceptance, and operational handoffs.
