Job summary

Cognizant US is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT/OT project management and technical delivery for BES-related initiatives in South Plainfield, NJ. You will balance PMP-driven frameworks with hands-on OT/IT collaboration with operations engineers, network architects, and auditors to ensure zero residual compliance risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years handling OT/SCADA projects in electric utilities.
• Track record delivering projects through active NERC CIP audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of projects from initiation to closeout using IT EPMO Stage Gate to reach CMMI Level 3.
• Develop and manage project-level org chart, milestone schedule and plans.
• Assist in developing technical vision for PSEGLI systems, translating solutions into end-to-end architectures and roadmaps.
• Support and create solutions for system dependencies identified during the effort.
• Coordinate with PSEG LI Supply Chain on RFPs/SOWs and 3rd party hosted solutions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports.
• Oversee and review steering committee presentations.
• Ensure quality/on-time delivery of project documentation as per EPMO guidelines, including Stage Gate Scorecard.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Complete all required training within two weeks of notification.
