Job summary

The Senior Network Engineer will bridge IT/OT, configuring Cisco routing and switching, hardening plant networks, and enforcing security policies per IEC 62443 and NIST. The role involves planning, deploying, and supporting site-to-site and remote connectivity, plus maintaining documentation and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Networking.
• Experience with Cisco and Fortinet networking technologies.
• Strong knowledge of core networking and security concepts.
• Familiarity with IT/OT and industrial networking environments.
• Experience supporting multi-site network environments.
• Knowledge of industry security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, IEC 62443) and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure across corporate, plant, and cloud-connected environments.
• Architect and enforce secure IT/OT network segmentation using Purdue model, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Configure routing, switching, OSPF/BGP, STP/RSTP, QoS, 802.1X, and related technologies.
• Build highly available network architectures with HA firewall pairs and redundant uplinks.
• Plan, deploy, and support secure site-to-site and remote-access connectivity (IPsec, SSL VPN).
• Manage Fortinet solutions: FortiGate, policies, NAT, IPS, web filtering, SSL inspection.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst/Nexus IOS, wireless, and industrial Ethernet; troubleshoot L1-3.
