Job summary

ESP Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and support networks across IT and OT environments from our Carencro, LA site. This hands-on role partners with IT, site operations, and controls teams to keep critical systems connected and available.

You will configure Cisco routing and switching, manage Fortinet firewalls and VPNs, and ensure robust network segmentation between corporate IT and industrial networks. On-site work with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking and Fortinet security technologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, security policies, and centralized management tools.
• Build secure separation between corporate IT and industrial networks using VLANs, firewalls, and industrial DMZs.
• Support networks connected to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other operational technology.
• Improve network resilience through redundant connections, firewall high availability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Maintain network diagrams, addressing records, firewall rules, and support procedures.
• Partner with site teams on upgrades and troubleshooting, with occasional travel, on-call support, and maintenance work.
