Job summary

SAIC is seeking an IT Specialist to maintain critical network, system, and communication technologies for mission partners. This role covers Tier 1 and 2 support across network, systems, and phones, with responsibilities spanning routers, switches, VTCs, laptops, and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has broad technical knowledge, hands-on experience with diverse network protocols, hardware, and software, and a passion for troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Solid technical skills across a variety of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic abilities with good communication.
• Security+ certification is required and DoD 8140 compliance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN routing and switching hardware/software.
• Maintain equipment logs, ensure link functionality, and support lifecycle operations for LAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Provision and manage secure LAN/WAN VPN services and enforce DoD/DISA/USSOCOM policies.
