Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or related occupation.
• Experience with VeloCloud SD-WAN for automation across global worksites.
• Ability to develop high-level and low-level documentation across Cisco, Arista, CradlePoint, and Velo Cloud.
• Experience aligning technology strategies with business continuity needs.
• Experience leading large, complex network projects and scripting/automation (Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Postman).
• Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki/Aruba access points, Cradlepoint modems, OSPF/BGP, VLANs/HSRP/VRRP/Trunking, VPNs

Responsibilities

• Design and test WAN network solutions including IP routing, switching, WAN access, and wireless technologies.
• Develop and implement new designs; support deployment teams for complex branch deployments.
• Create and modify elements of technology and document them.
• Evaluate technology effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Implement, operate, and maintain technology components.
• Create and maintain documentation for technology elements.
• Listen to WAN customer needs and provide compliant, secure solutions.
• Up to 90% telecommuting permitted.
