Senior IT Manager
Position Overview
The Senior IT Manager will lead the development, execution, and ongoing evolution of their long-term technology roadmap. This executive-level position is responsible for aligning IT vision with business strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring IT investments deliver sustainable value across all company facilities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to anticipate future needs, foster cross-functional collaboration, and position IT as a driver of business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Own IT Strategy:
Lead the creation and execution of a multi-year IT strategy, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and growth plans. - Strategic Planning Leadership:
Oversee IT strategic planning processes, including capability assessments, technology roadmaps, and initiative prioritization. - Executive Advisory:
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating business goals into actionable IT strategies and measurable outcomes. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and proactively support operational and manufacturing excellence. - Technology Innovation:
Oversee the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to maintain IT's competitiveness and innovation. - IT Governance:
Establish and govern IT policies, standards, and frameworks supporting risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement. - Service Management:
Guide the development and execution of IT service management strategies to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. - KPI and Performance Reporting:
Define, track, and report on strategic KPIs and performance metrics. Regularly present IT performance, project outcomes, and investment value to senior leadership, using data-driven insights to inform planning and investment decisions. - Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop IT leaders and teams, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, and professional growth. - Vendor Management:
Oversee strategic vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and support long-term objectives. - Change Management:
Champion change management and communication strategies to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes. - Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure IT alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and external assessments as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in IT strategy, planning, and executive leadership, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks and their application to long-term planning.
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- Experience with ERP, MES, and plant automation systems, and a deep understanding of IT/OT integration.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic budget oversight.
- Knowledge of information security, risk management, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to leverage metrics for strategic decision-making and executive reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

- Effective leadership and development of IT teams, fostering a strategic and collaborative culture.
- Consistent, clear, and actionable reporting of IT performance metrics and KPIs to senior leadership.
