Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a Senior Director, Information Technology to lead a comprehensive technology strategy and operations for a complex residential school environment.

This full-time, on-site role reports to executive leadership, co-chairs the Technology Steering Committee, and directs budgeting, procurement, and vendor management while advancing cybersecurity and student, educator, and administrative technology needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology leadership in large organizations.
• Proven ability to lead complex IT operations and programs.
• Experience developing multi-year IT roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Strong cybersecurity, risk management, and governance skills.
• Experience in educational or similarly multifaceted environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for IT operations and services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT management and staff.
• Establish schoolwide technology governance, standards, and policies.
• Lead major technology initiatives, modernization efforts, and implementations.
• Drive integration, efficiency, reliability, and value from technology investments.
