Job summary

Covington Aircraft is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Lead to oversee and support all aspects of information technology across our aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. This senior role develops and executes the IT strategy while providing day-to-day technical support and infrastructure administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows administration, networking, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization's primary IT leader and technology advisor.
• Develop and maintain the IT roadmap, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and technology initiatives.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support ERP systems, databases, and business applications.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and IT documentation.
