Job summary

Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA is seeking an IT Internal Auditor for the GTAS team. You will perform risk-based audits and advisory work to evaluate controls and influence senior management to strengthen the control environment.

You will collaborate across divisions, help shape audit coverage for technology risks, and deliver work papers, narratives, flowcharts and reports. A strong IT audit background and hybrid on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of three years in related industry with IT risk or IT controls experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple responsibilities.
• Hybrid position requiring proximity to Malvern, PA office.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based audits and consulting engagements on topics related to risk, governance, process, technology, and controls.
• Communicate progress and results to management and identify opportunities to strengthen controls.
• Participate in client discussions, execute audit work, assess risk and control effectiveness.
• Prepare high-quality work papers and client-facing deliverables including narratives, flowcharts and reports.
• Mentor less experienced auditors on processes and methodology.
• Participate in special projects and department initiatives as needed.
